Collecting you from the port of Greenock, your guide will drive you into to Glasgow Centre, where you can view the Modern, Victorian and Georgian architecture of the city.   Although not our Capital, this is our largest city and your guide will show you the old area of Glasgow Cross and Glasgow’s oldest house built in 1471, before heading on to Glasgow Cathedral.  Enjoy a visit to one of Scotland’s finest Cathedrals which has survived since the era of Renaissance before taking a short walk to the Necropolis.  Marvel at the sculptures and tombs whilst enjoying views over the City.

We then head into Scotland’s rural central belt for a visit to the City of Stirling; the setting for many of Scotland’s historic battles, William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots all had significant events in this historic setting.  Recently showcased in the movie ‘The Outlaw King’, Stirling Castle was considered to be impenetrable and we recommend you undertake the 60-minute tour of the castle to learn about its amazing history and enjoy the remarkable views of Perthshire from it’s walls.

Your guide will then take you for lunch in the town of Stirling, before heading on to your Scottish Whisky tour at Deanston Distillery to learn how the ancient art of whisky making is still continuing.  For Outlander Fans, you may recognise the distillery as it was used as the wine warehouse in season 2.   Following your tour, there is the opportunity to sample a wee Dram and browse the shop before heading back to Port.
