I keep hearing about this Munro-Bagging in the Highlands of Scotland; it sounds like an adventurous past-time, so I took myself off to Schiehallion to have a look.

Thinking of Munro-Bagging!

At just over 3,500ft and a walking time of around 6 hours, this is supposed to be one of the easiest Munroe's to ascend.  Overlooking Rannoch Moor, it certainly dominates the view.  After having a look, I decided that my wee legs might find it a bit too much of a climb; after all I am supposed to be hibernating in winter and not exerting myself too much!  So I decided to make my way to Rannoch Station to get the train home.

When they say this is one of the remotest Railway Stations in Britain, they aren't kidding!  Such a beautiful, quiet place and the Tearoom is a great place to stop and enjoy the views whilst waiting for your train. http://rannochstationtearoom.co.uk/

Next time, I'll remember my walking boots!
